You are welcome to participate in all the activities arranged by the parish of Seinäjoki. The Sunday service in Lakeuden Risti Church at 10 a.m. is a Communion service. There is a Communion service in Törnävä church on the 1^st Sunday of each month at 4 p.m. On holy days other than Sundays, there is a service without communion at 10 a.m. in Lakeuden Risti and on Sundays in Törnävä church.

• e.g. youth evenings and concerts for young persons. Almost all 15-year-olds attend confirmation classes.

• Bible classes and other occasions every week

• Elderly people gather together on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. (a so called Silver Tuesday Club). The program (about 45 minutes): an hour of devotion, some physical exercises, and a meal (6 €). We chat with each other, listen to some lecturers and other performers from different fields of life. Club members can also make their appearance.

• Family counselling centre helps individuals, couples and families in their conflicts.

• Diaconal work, motivated by Christian love, serves especially those in greatest need and those who are not receiving any other kind of aid. People of all ages in different kinds of situations can ask for help, irrespective of their cultural or religious backgrounds. Diaconal workers can render spiritual, mental or economic assistance. One of the workers has been nominated for the local immigrant work: deacon Seija Saari. The phone number is 06-4184234.
